The Arts & Exhibits Coordinator has a dual role as an active member of the AC board and as coordinator of the Kinetic Gallery, located in MacVittie College Union. The A&E Coordinator curates exhibits in the Kinetic Gallery, supervises receptions and publicity, maintains an attendance/ contact list, and acts as an informal liaison between the Brodie Art Department, the Student Art Association, and Activities Commission. In addition, the A&E Coordinator oversees the gallery physically, making sure that it is maintained in accordance with the policies of College Union and Activities and is in proper condition before and after each A&E curated exhibition. The A&E coordinator is also responsible for purchasing all needed gallery supplies and keeping an inventory of existing hardware and supplies.

The Kinetic Gallery is a student-run space that provides the opportunity to create a distinct artisctic connection within the student community. It is our goal to showcase and foster a greater appreciation for innovative artistic ideas, as well as to create an atmosphere of openness for the contemporary visual arts on campus. Seeking to exhibit both established and rising artists in addition to student work, it is our hope that this space becomes a place for discussion, dialogue, and thought about the ideas and concepts behind the creation of art.
