The Contemporary Forum Coordinator brings in speakers of note to educate and entertain the college community. By cooperating and collaborating with academic departments, programming offices, and student organizations, the Contemporary Forums Coordinator offers alternative forums for student learning that goes beyond the classroom. A variety of topical speakers provide students with opportunities to grow and develop as citizens and individuals. Collaboration with the following offices and organizations: Office of the Provost, Cultural Harmony Week & Activities Committee, Office of Multiculturalism, GOLD, Geneseo Late Knight, The Wadsworth Lecture, College Union, Face AIDS, Korean American Student Association, and many more! Past Speakers & Events Include: bell hooks, Doug Lansky, Dr. James Loewn, Francis Bok, Jonathan Kozol, Judson Laiply, Lenelle Moise, Max Weinberg, Mo Rocca, Paul Loeb, The Dating Doctor, and The Female Orgasm. |
