The Publicity and Promotions Co-Position allows the coordinators to communicate to the Geneseo community through advertising and other means of publicity.  The ultimate goal is to get as many people as possible to attend each event as well as to satisfy the attendees.  We use typical means of advertisement such as posters, table-tents, painting the wall, Facebook, and 'What's Up's,' but we also try to incorporate some out of the box thinking and more creative ways to get Geneseo students to come to our events.  Most recently, these include sandwich boards and musical jam sessions in the Campus Grind.

Besides diverse, direct advertisement, the Publicity and Promotions Coordinators are expected to attend events and cooperate with the rest of the board.  Many a times we are the source of innovative ideas, and are expected to collaborate with all of the programmers to make their events as successful as possible.

Like all parts of AC, Publicity and Promotions loves to have fun while doing our job.  The creative aspect of this position gives us freedom to promote campus activities in new innovative ways which keeps the position fun, upbeat, and interesting.
